yes, they are espardenyes o alpargatas (catalan - spanish) and are very typical and perfect for the summer. they only cost about 4-6€ and come in different colours. I can send you a pair if you want!

Al principio vi la primera foto tan rápido que pensé que lo que hay a la izquierda de las cañas eran chips ahoy gigantes!!!
